Shorter Route to Crooked Lake & Northern Marinette County Trails

Shorter Route to Crooked Lake & Northern Marinette County
Last summer we opened up a shorter ATV/UTV Route
from the Lakewood/Townsend area over to Crooked Lake & Northern Marinette
County Trails.  From the Nicolet State Trail in Lakewood, take N Gage Road
(right by the bait shop in Lakewood) to Glenbrook Way,
turn left on North Road, turn right on Forrester Road, turn
right on Lake John Road, turn right just before County F, cross County F at
Whitetail Lane, turn left in ditch line and follow ditch line to Old 32, follow
Old 32 and then turn left on South Thielke Road, cross highway F again and
follow North Thielke Road, turn right on West Wheeler Lake Road and cross
Highway F, turn left in ditch line, follow ditch line along County F to Smyth
Road.  Follow signs to Crooked Lake or to Northern Marinette County Trail
System.  You can also get to the Beach Club, Prospect Lodge & Waubee Lake
Lodge via this route.  Please follow and obey all signs, speed limits in County
ditch lines is 5 mph.  Please take extra caution when riding these ditch lines.
This route is also on the 2014 Oconto County ATV Map.
