DOTY UPDATE: The culvert across Highway 64 & T has been completed with the cost of the gravel shared between our club and the Red Arrow Snowmobile & ATV Club. The culvert & the work was donated by Gene Fredrickson Trucking. The Gate on the O’Briens property is now completed.
LAKEWOOD UPDATE: One additional road in Lakewood has been opened, it is Boat Landing 11 Road that will connect into Marinette County from the Town of Lakewood. Please check our website at www.hiddenbeartrailatvclub.com for all town roads that are open in Lakewood, Riverview & Doty.
FOREST SERVICE UPDATE: We are inching closer to opening the new route from the Nicolet Trail to T & 64 in Doty. Our contractor has completed the crossing at Hwy 32 and Thelen road along with the filling of low areas along the 3.7 mile of Forest Service Property and the mowing of each side of the trail. Members of the club were out 3 days last week to brush the route. We are now waiting for the Forest Service sign design and to order the signs needed. Once the signs are received the Forest Service will contact our club to assist with putting up the signs. This route could be ready in a few weeks and our club will then sign all the town roads from the Nicolet Trail to Highway T & 64. Once this is opened ATVer’s will be able to make a 45 mile loop from the Nicolet Trail to Townsend via Highway 64 & T.
