We need to get additional instructors

Hidden Bear Trail ATV Club jointly sponsors a DNR Certified ATV Safety Class with the Red Arrow Snowmobile – ATV Club. This season’s ATV Class will be scheduled for either May or June of this year. Per the DNR you need one instructor per every 10 students. If the class size is 35, you would need 4 instructors. Right now we only have 4 instructors from HBT, and we have been doing it for multiple years. We need to get additional instructors trained, or we run the risk of not being able to continue to sponsor the class. Anyone born after January 1, 1988 is required to successfully pass an ATV Safety Course. Training is conducted by the DNR. You would be expected to pass a background check. There is a Virtual Training Session scheduled on 01/31/2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Participants will receive atv, boat, and snowmobile certifications (pending a successful background check).
