FUNDRAISER HELP

Our only Fundraiser of the year will be on Saturday August 16th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Animal’s Bear Trail Inn at the corner of Hwy T & 64 in the township of Doty.  We break our volunteer’s into 2 shifts of 2 hours each.  The following is a description of jobs and what shift we still need help with:

Raffle Seller’s:  Each volunteer goes around the crowd selling $2.00 tickets for a chance to win meat.  Each round we sell 60 tickets and have 6 seller’s.  You will sell 10 tickets each round.  Our first shift we still need 5 raffle sellers from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  Our second shift is full.  An adult and children can volunteer and work together.

Meat Runner:  This position is very important and speeds up our raffle.  The meat runner’s take a meat ticket from the raffle stage and delivers it out in the crowd to the winner of each spin.  They verify the winning ticket and give the person the meat ticket that they won.  We need 2 volunteers for each shift, 1:00 to 3:00 and 3:00 to 5:00 pm.  This is another volunteer position that works well as a family with children.

50-50 Raffle:  This volunteer position goes around the crowd and sell’s 50-50 raffle tickets.  Tickets are $5.00 a piece or 5 for $20.00,  We draw every hour during the event. We need 2 volunteers to work the 3:00 – 5:00 shift.

Food Server’s:  This volunteer position helps serve food during our event.  They put together the sandwich and the basket to serve to customers.  Rubber gloves are required and furnished by the club. Tickets are collected and you do not handle any money.  We need 2 volunteers for both shifts, the 1:00  to 3:00 shift and 3:00 to 5:00 shift.
