Where It All Started: The Fence That Connected Our Trails

The HBT ATV Club was established in 2009, and our very first project set the tone for the years to come.
Our inaugural effort was constructing a ½-mile fence on Patrick and Jenny O’Brien’s property along Hwy T in the Town of Doty. This fence represented the final link needed to complete a new ATV trail connection from the Nicolet State Trail north of Mountain, creating a loop through the Town of Doty and reconnecting with the Nicolet State Trail north of Townsend.

This project marked the beginning of our club’s mission: building safe, accessible, and enjoyable riding opportunities for our community.
