2025 SPRING LETTER

Another ATV/UTV season is just around the corner, the Oconto County ATV Trails open
Saturday April 26 th , 2025 (weather permitting). We will keep all of our members informed of the
exact date they will open or you can visit our website at: www.hiddenbeartrailatvclub.com or the
Oconto County website at: www.ocontocounty.org. Hope this letter finds everyone in good
health, and looking forward to the ATV Season. Enclosed is our 2025 Calendar of Events.
The Board of Director’s at our fall meeting voted to change up our 2025 Calendar of Events.
We have changed the First Membership Meeting to just include the meeting that day, with no
club ride or lunch involved. We have designated July 19 th as the day we will have a club ride and
go for lunch, no meeting will be held. Our normal August Meeting will be before our annual
fundraiser on Saturday August 16 th . Our last club meeting will be held at 3:00 pm on September
20 th at the Schoolhouse Bar and our club picnic will start after the meeting.
The Hidden Bear Trail ATV Club and the Red Arrow Snowmobile/ATV Club will be holding an
ATV DNR Safety Class on Saturday May 17 th , 2025. The Paul Bunyan Club will also be holding an
ATV DNR Safety Class on Saturday May 31 st , 2025. To register go to gowild.wi.gov and browse
classes. Anyone born after January 1, 1988 must have a DNR Safety Certificate.
Our Wisconsin ATV Association (WATVA) will be sponsoring a “Let’s Ride Expo” in Oshkosh WI
on May 2 nd – 4 th at the Sunnyview Expo Center. The public is invited to attend this expo, our ATV
Club will have a booth at the Expo Center to promote ATV Safety and to get members from the
public to get involved in the sport. All members are also welcome to attend. Please visit the
WATVA website for up-to-date info.
Our annual fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday August 16 th , 2025 at Animal’s Bear Trail Inn
from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Please mark your calendar. Please try to attend our June 21st
meeting to sign up to help at the Fundraiser. We also have our $100.00 cash raffle tickets
available to purchase. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket contact Jim at: 920-562-7872
