OCONTO COUNTY ATV TRAILS:   The Oconto County ATV Trails will not open as scheduled on Saturday April 26th.  We are hopeful that they will open sometime next week.  We will keep you updated!!!

TEMPORARY DETOUR:  When the Oconto County ATV Trails Open, there will be a temporary detour on the Hidden Bear Trail ATV Trails.  Mountain Lakes ATV Route from highway 64 to Blue Spruce will be closed due to logging along the right-of-way.  The detour is as follows:  Going south from the Nicolet State Trail toward the Town of Doty the ATV Trail/Route will be closed at Star Lake Road, turn right on Star Lake Road, left on Elbe Road, follow Star Lake Road till you get to Shadow Lake Road, turn left on Shadow Lake Road if you are going toward the Chute Pond Area or continue straight on Star Lake Road to Hwy T if going toward Animal’s Bear Trail Inn or if going toward Townsend on Hwy T or Eichoff Road.  Coming north from the Chute Pond Area the ATV Trail/Route will be closed at Mountain Lakes Road and Blue Spruce.  The detour is as follows:  Continue on Blue Spruce, at the trail over to Hwy T turn left if going north continue straight on Blue Spruce, cross hwy 64, turn right on Shadow Lake Road and follow Detour Signs.  All ATV Detour Signs are in place.
